A Weekend Packed with Discounts, Events, and Local Pride
July 27 — better known as 727 Day — has grown from a quirky nod to Pinellas County’s area code into one of the most anticipated local celebrations of the year. For 2025, the festivities are expanding bigger than ever, with more than 100 local businesses rolling out exclusive discounts, freebies, and community events across July 26th and 27th.
What is 727 Day?
The name comes from Pinellas County’s 727 area code, which serves as a perfect excuse each year to celebrate everything that makes this region unforgettable. With award-winning craft breweries, Michelin-recommended restaurants, vibrant museums, and iconic Gulf Coast beaches, 727 Day spotlights the best of St. Pete and beyond.
This year, the party stretches over two days — Saturday, July 26th (727 Eve) and Sunday, July 27 — offering locals double the opportunities to explore deals and events.
The 727 Day Passport

To join the fun, you’ll need the free digital 727 Day Passport. Signing up is easy: visit the official 727 Day website, tap the signup button, and open the passport in your phone’s browser. Show it at participating businesses to unlock discounts, and even score online deals linked directly through the passport. Every redemption earns points toward a limited-edition 727 Day t-shirt designed by local artist Chad Mize.
Major Events
The weekend is anchored by four headline events. On Sunday, the St. Pete Pier Celebration brings live music and a massive drone show over Tampa Bay. Two 727 Day Runs — one in downtown St. Pete and one on St. Pete Beach — give locals a chance to hit the pavement. The Clearwater Threshers game hosts 727-themed festivities, while the Pink Palm Pool Club Party at the Moxy St. Pete and Sparrow Rooftop serves up a vibrant poolside bash.

Why 727 Day Hits Different in Pinellas
727 Day isn’t just about scoring deals — it’s a love letter to Pinellas County itself. It’s the weekend when locals fill the breweries on Central, stroll the Pier at sunset, and hop from beach bars in Treasure Island to galleries in Gulfport, celebrating the unique neighborhoods that make the 727 so special. Beyond the discounts, it’s a reminder of why living here feels like a permanent vacation: the Gulf breeze, the arts scene, the food, and the people who call this slice of Florida home.
