FREE MUSEUM DAY IS BACK! - September 20th, 2025

This annual event invites both residents and visitors to experience the depth of St. Pete’s creative culture without the price tag, turning downtown into an all-access pass to discovery. More Than a Free Ticket — A Citywide Tradition
Modeled after the national Smithsonian Free Museum Day, St. Pete’s version has grown into a cornerstone community event. By opening the doors of cultural institutions to everyone, the initiative breaks down barriers to access while showcasing the city’s thriving arts identity.
From thought-provoking history exhibits to world-class art collections, Free Museum Day is St. Pete at its most welcoming, inclusive, and inspiring. And for families, it’s proof that some of the city’s most memorable experiences don’t have to cost a dime.
