Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 20th, some of St. Petersburg’s most beloved museums and cultural landmarks will welcome the public with free admission for one day only. Hosted by the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance (SPAA) in collaboration with the City of St. Petersburg, Free Museum Day is back to celebrate the city’s artistic spirit, diverse history, and vibrant community.
A Day of Discovery for Everyone
This annual tradition transforms downtown into a cultural playground, giving both locals and visitors the chance to explore St. Pete’s creative scene without the usual cost of entry. Families, students, and curious explorers alike can dive into world-class collections, thought-provoking exhibits, and interactive experiences - all without opening their wallets.

Getting Around Downtown
Parking is available in city garages, but visitors are encouraged to skip the hassle and ride public transit. The SunRunner, Downtown Looper, and Central Avenue Trolley all offer easy, affordable ways to hop between museums and make the most of the day.
