Looking for something to do in St. Pete this Sunday? How about a day where the kids can climb aboard real fire trucks, USF's Rocky the Bull makes a special appearance, the music is live, the food trucks are rolling in, and dozens of local businesses are ready to show off what makes this city so special? Oh and did we mention the whole thing is FREE!?
On Sunday November 1st from 10AM-2PM, LocalPalooza is making its debut at USF St. Petersburg, bringing a brand-new community celebration to downtown St. Pete. Hosted by St. Pete Is Super Cool, this open-air event is bringing together an expected 60β70 local vendors, food trucks, talented artists, live entertainment, interactive experiences, and family-friendly activities for a day dedicated to everything local.
Whether you're a parent looking to entertain the kids without spending a fortune, a small-business supporter hunting for your next favorite local find, a dog parent searching for a pup-friendly outing, or someone who just appreciates a good Sunday with great food and music, LocalPalooza has something with your name on it!
Big Trucks, Rocky the Bull & FREE Family Fun!

Forget another Sunday spent wondering how to entertain the kids. LocalPalooza is bringing out the BIG toys with a FREE Touch-A-Truck experience that gives little explorers an opportunity to get up close with the vehicles they usually only see driving down the street. From fire trucks and police vehicles to sanitation trucks and more, families can explore these impressive machines while meeting some of the local heroes who keep our community running.
And the excitement doesn't stop there! Rocky the Bull, the University of South Florida's beloved mascot, will be making a special appearance from 10AM to 12PM! Bring the little Bulls fans, grab a photo, and show some USF spirit while enjoying everything happening around campus. Between the trucks, Rocky, and the excitement of exploring a bustling community event, there's plenty to keep the youngest members of the family entertained.
The best part? There's no admission fee, no expensive activity package, and no need to purchase tickets for the family fun. Just bring the kids, invite their friends, and enjoy a Sunday where the memories don't have to come with a hefty price tag.
Shop 60β70 Local Vendors, Discover New Favorites & Come Hungry!

Shopping local is more than a catchy slogan when you get to meet the people actually creating the products, running the businesses, and putting their hearts into what they do. LocalPalooza is expected to feature approximately 60β70 vendors, bringing together a diverse mix of St. Pete area small businesses, independent artists, talented makers, and creative entrepreneurs.
Expect an exciting variety of handmade creations, unique finds, original artwork, specialty products, and plenty of opportunities to discover businesses you might not have encountered before. With the holiday shopping season getting underway, it's also a great chance to find something thoughtful, unexpected, or completely impossible to resist for yourself.
And come hungry! Food trucks and food vendors will be part of the celebration, offering plenty of delicious reasons to take a break from browsing. Grab a bite, treat yourself to something sweet, and enjoy a Sunday where supporting the local economy tastes pretty good, too.
Start With a Booty Burner, Stay for Live Music!

For anyone who likes to start their Sunday with a little movement before the shopping begins, Coach Kelli from Peach Pump Gym is kicking things off at 10AM with a bootylicious workout! Bring your own yoga mat and get ready for a fun, energetic morning session before exploring the rest of LocalPalooza. It's a great way to start the day with friends, get moving, and earn absolutely no judgment for whatever you order from the food trucks afterward.
Once the workout is done, there's plenty of entertainment to keep the atmosphere going. Local musician Justin Rice will be bringing his one-man musical experience to the event, using beatboxing, a loop pedal, guitar, saxophone, and vocals to build an entire band's worth of sound right in front of the audience. Watching the music come together layer by layer is part of the fun, creating a live performance that's every bit as interesting to watch as it is to hear.
And yes, LocalPalooza is dog-friendly! Your four-legged family members are welcome to join the fun, which means nobody has to explain to the dog why the entire family is heading out without them. Bring the pups, meet up with friends, explore the local businesses, and enjoy the kind of relaxed community atmosphere that makes St. Pete such a great place to spend a Sunday.
