Madeira Beach Burger Week Returns With 18 Restaurants, $10 Burgers and Some Serious Competition

Madeira Beach is about to become one giant burger competition, and this year there are more reasons than ever to show up hungry.

Madeira Beach Burger Week returns August 21st through August 30th 2026, bringing together a record 18 participating restaurants for 10 days of specialty burgers priced at just $10. From brisket, bacon and fried onions to shrimp, birria, pineapple, hot honey and even a burger-inspired pizza, calling this a standard burger crawl would be selling it short.

The annual event has grown into a full-on restaurant competition across Madeira Beach and John’s Pass, with diners ultimately helping decide who walks away with bragging rights for Best Burger and Most Creative Burger. For anyone who has ever argued with friends over who makes the best burger on the Pinellas beaches, consider this your chance to actually make your vote count.

18 Madeira Beach Restaurants Are Battling It Out for Burger Week

The 2026 lineup is the largest Madeira Beach Burger Week has hosted yet, and thankfully, restaurants appear to have understood the assignment. There are some familiar combinations on the list, but plenty of kitchens are taking Burger Week as permission to get a little weird with it.

One restaurant is turning birria into a burger. Another is putting shrimp on a smash patty. Walt’z Fish Shak skipped the beef altogether for a Bang Bang Shrimp Burger, while Slyce Pizza Bar decided the burger should just become a pizza. Meanwhile, Pirate’s Pub-N-Grub is bringing back its Saucy Siren Burger, which the official Burger Week site identifies as the reigning champion.

Here is the complete Madeira Beach Burger Week 2026 restaurant lineup:

  • Daiquiri Shak — Smoked Gouda & Bacon Burger
  • Cambria Hotel’s Ember Rooftop Bar & Prime Waters — The Big Kahuna
  • Bamboo Beach Bar — French Onion Burger
  • Angry Pepper — The Triple B
  • Walt’z Fish Shak — Bang Bang Shrimp Burger

$10 Burgers To Stuff Your Face With

Angry Pepper’s Triple B combines a burger with smoked brisket, bacon, pepper jack, fried onions and Alabama white sauce. Caddy’s Sandkicker Burger piles BBQ pulled pork, bacon, queso blanco and fried onion straws onto an Angus patty. Dockside Dave’s goes heavy with an eight-ounce brisket and short-rib burger topped with cheddar, oversized onion rings, bacon jam and hot-and-smoky BBQ sauce.

Then there is Mad Beach Craft Brewery’s Surf & Turf Burger, pairing a smash patty with two shrimp, Thermidor sauce, arugula, tomato and pickled red onion. The Reef is heading in a more tropical direction with the Maui Wowie Burger, featuring two smashed patties, pepper jack, teriyaki aioli and pineapple salsa.

You’ll Need a Madeira Beach Burger Week Passport

There is one important thing to know before heading out: a Burger Week passport is required to participate in the official $10 promotion. The passports are free and serve as both your guide to participating restaurants and your ballot for the competition. They can be picked up through participating restaurants and designated Madeira Beach locations including City Hall and the Recreation Center.

Every time you order an eligible Burger Week creation, get your passport stamped. Diners need to visit at least four participating restaurants for their votes to count and to qualify for prize drawings. Make it to six or more restaurants and you earn an additional raffle entry.

At the end, participants vote for Best Burger and Most Creative Burger before submitting their passports. Completed passports must be received by September 9th, and the official awards party is scheduled for September 16th at Daiquiri Shak.

One other detail worth knowing before you start planning an entire week around $10 lunches: the promotional burgers are a la carte, meaning fries, sides and drinks cost extra. Restaurants can also get slammed during the promotion and may sell out of their Burger Week creation, so hitting the places at the top of your list earlier rather than later probably is not a bad strategy!
